This is an incredible retelling of the life and legacy of Gautama Buddha. Thich Nhat Hanh, a Buddhist monk, brings alive the events that led to modern Buddhism. At times in reading this book I could almost imagine myself to be living among the Buddha and his followers, and I was energized by the down-to-earth yet inspiring tone of the book.
