The core of higher education's mission is to prepare young people to live their lives, to find the direction their lives will take beyond graduation. But these questions -- Who am I? How shall I live? -- are also ultimately spiritual questions, which require personal reflection and introspection that go well beyond the usual boundaries of the classroom. This conference will gather together students, as well as faculty, staff, and other members of the university community, to experience for themselves some practical models for incorporating spiritual seeking into their own lives, and to create a context in their own college communities where students can directly, consciously and deliberately engage the most important questions in life.
