Dear Student,

Congratulations and thank you for registering for Inward Bound!

On behalf of the Self Knowledge Symposium and other conference sponsors, we look forward to welcoming you to this much anticipated event. We are very excited about the conference and continue to work feverishly to ensure that it will be amongst the highlights (and perhaps one of the turning points) of your life. We can't wait to meet you and the other 300 participants who will descend on North Carolina State University's campus from October 13-15, 2002.

Inward Bound is a rare opportunity to look honestly at yourself, identify the questions that are most pertinent to your life at this moment, and to engage in an intense period of critical thinking and reflection. Your inspiration will be everywhere, from your personal stories shared in small group discussions, to the extraordinary lessons learned along the way by our amazing speakers, and through meeting countless others who are also seeking a truer way to live. And to top it all off, there'll be plenty of celebrating, fellowship, food, and fun!

Inward Bound will kick-off with registration beginning at 8:00am on Sunday, October 13th at the Talley Student Center and will conclude on Tuesday, October 15th at 3:00pm. Please plan to attend the entire conference as both the keynote and the closing ceremonies are important to framing the conference.

Enclosed you will find an article entitled, "The Cup of Trembling," (please read this before you arrive), directions to Talley Student Center, a copy of The Symposium, our student-run spiritual journal, and answers to frequently asked questions. However, if you still have questions or concerns, please feel free to email info@selfknowledge.org.

We look forward to seeing you at Inward Bound!

Sincerely,

2002 Inward Bound Planning Committee
