From Rocky Mount via US 64 (I-95 from New York)
Take US 64 West to Raleigh. (US 64 West turns into New Bern Avenue.) Follow New Bern Avenue to downtown Raleigh. New Bern Avenue bears off into Edenton. Edenton turns into Hillsborough Street. (See** below)
From Henderson via US 1
Take US 1 (which turns into Capital Boulevard) to downtown Raleigh. Turn right onto Edenton Street. Edenton Street merges with Hillsborough Street. (See ** below)
**Go down Hillsborough Street for about a mile. You will come to a stoplight and see the NCSU Bell Tower in front of you. Take that left before the bell tower onto campus at Pullen Road. You will be on campus. Go down Pullen Road through one stoplight and take Right onto Cates Avenue. Go for about half a mile and you will come to a stoplight. Talley Student Center is the first building on your right hand side after the stoplight.
From Chapel Hill and Durham via I-40
Take I-40 East approximately 20 miles to Raleigh. Take exit 289, Wade Avenue. Take a right onto Faircloth. Take your first left onto Hillsborough Street. Go down Hillsborough Street for about 3 miles, you will see NCSU on your right. After the NCSU Bell Tower, take a right onto Pullen Road. Go down Pullen Road through one stoplight and take Right onto Cates Avenue. Go for about half a mile and you will come to a stoplight. Talley Student Center is the first building on your right hand side after the stoplight.
From Fayetteville via US 401
Take US 401 to Raleigh. Then take I-40 West to Gorman Street. Turn right onto Gorman Street and then right again onto Avent Ferry Road. After 2-3 miles, you will come to the intersection of Avent Ferry and Western Blvd. Go straight through that light and Avent Ferry Rd. turns into Morrill St. and you will be on campus. Go to your first stoplight and Talley Student Center will be the first building after the stoplight on the right.
From Florida via I-95
Take I-95 to I-40 West. Proceed on I-40 West into Raleigh to the Gorman Street exit. Turn right onto Gorman Street and then right again onto Avent Ferry Road. Go straight through that light and Avent Ferry Rd. turns into Morrill St. and you will be on campus. Go to your first stoplight and Talley Student Center will be the first building after the stoplight on the right
Park as close to Talley as possible. When you come into register, we will give you a parking pass and direct you to a parking lot.
